Prima Watercolors Confections

Choosing The Right Watercolors For The Job

Why You Should Check Out Prima Watercolor Confections

Today I want to take a moment and write about these wonderful new-to-me watercolors I have discovered at my local Artco Crafts Store!

I love Prima Watercolor Confections because they are put together for me in different color palettes, so all I have to do is grab one of the palettes and all the colors in it go together perfectly!

No thinking on my part when I just want to get on with painting a drawing I have just taken a long time to design.

Premixed Colors? Yes!

Also, I love these little palettes for the fact that I can just grab them and look for a specific color I may need. The color is already mixed for me and I don’t have to take the time to figure out which colors to mix to get that perfect green when I need it quickly.

Don’t get me wrong - I love mixing colors too, but as a Mom who never knows how much peace and quiet I may get at any given time, Prima has made it really easy for me to just get the job done quickly, and I really like that!

Recently a friend sent me a text photo of an Acer leaf that she wanted me to draw and paint for her, and it was so easy to take out my little Prima Watercolor Confections and match up the leaf to the perfect colors.

She looked so impressed, and I didn’t do a thing! Prima just made me look really good! Ha Ha!

So Convenient And Compatible Too!

So I guess, I really love these little palettes for their convenience. But I also love how they work so well with my handmade paper and that is very important!

FUNNY STORY!

For this post, I got out all of my photography lights, and had my Wonderful Hon- set up my camera on the pivot arm just perfectly hanging over the area where I was working. Got all my paints out, water and brush, then I drew lines for my chart so it would look nice and organized, and then checked that my battery in my camera was full and that I had enough room on my memory stick to make a video for you all.

And, yes, I even painted my fingernails with my youngest daughter’s fancy fingernail polish with purple glitter in it!! All to make you a watercolor chart of the 7 Prima Watercolor Confections palettes I have been using! :)

I wanted you to see all the palettes and how well the paints do on handmade paper… So, I proceeded with making the color chart on two pages in my Khadi handmade paper sketchbook and it all went perfectly. Then… I shut off the camera and looked at my fine work, and saw my memory stick lying there on my desk!!! Oops! lol

So you’ll just have to enjoy my photos! :) What can I say? It’s true we do learn best by our mistakes, so there ya go! Hopefully I won’t do that again :)

Marvelous Colors

But just look at all these marvelous colors!

And the colors are not just numbered, but they are also named! Cute names like “Pumpkin” and “Peach Cobbler”. Each palette has a name too, like “Decadent Pies” and “Pastel Dreams”! You can tell I truly love these little palettes!

I am not an affiliate for Prima, just so you know, I just wanted to share them with you. I don’t have all the palettes, but you can check out all the Prima Watercolor Confections palettes, as well as their other products at this link: Prima. You’ll be really glad you did!

Give thanks to the God of heaven.
His love endures forever.
